MetroTaifun Area Collection system in the new Ranta-Tampella residential area has been deployed in December 2024. The system operates with 15 waste collection points and the waste fractions collected in the area include bio waste, mixed waste, paper, and plastic packaging.
The system serves the 3,500 residents of the new residential area and numerous service providers. User guide video for the system has been published in English and in Finnish.
Almarai, one of the world's largest poultry plants, has successfully utilized Taifun® systems for 12 years. Initially equipped with 14 systems, MariMatic delivered 5 additional systems in 2022 and will deliver 7 more in 2025, bringing the total number of suction points to over 100. The longest Taifun® vacuum conveying lines now exceed 500 meters inside the plant.

Presented by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) at the trade fair in Las Vegas on June 19, 2023, the award recognizes significant innovations in public safety and is often referred to as the 'Nobel of public safety'.
