MariMatic was chosen as a supplier of AWCS system for the new vibrant city centre of Odense in Denmark. Odense is building new apartments, a music hall and an H.C Andersen experience park to the renewed centre. Cars will be parked underground in the large parking garages. A new tramline will be deployed.
The AWCS project is expanding to Odense harbor area where existing buildings are equipped with indoor waste chutes, which will be connected to the Metro Taifun system and waste terminal. Expansion with new housing areas in the Harbour is under planning. The system will also be connected to a number of new housing projects adjacent to the city center.
The customer has chosen an AWCS system to reduce waste truck traffic as well as creating pedestrian areas in the limited areal of the new city centre. The customer has been especially pleased with the quality of MariMatic’s products as well as the usage of non-corrosive pipe network, installed with composite piping.
